Neo Northstar is a partnership formed between Yorktown and Neo Performance Materials to acquire and develop the Sarfartoq Rare Earths Project. Located in western Greenland, Sarfartoq lies within a large carbonatite complex hosting rare-earth metals including high grade neodymium (Nd) and praseodymium (Pr) in bastnaesite and monazite mineralization. The resources developed by Neo Northstar will have end uses ranging from wind turbines and electric vehicle motor drives to MRI machines.
